'Thanks George, that means a lot to me.' I smiled back at him.
It was very late when we got back home.
The rain made the traffic very heavy and when we got home, there was something I did not expect at all.
Mum, Alicia and Blue, Ryan's mother, were crying.
In fact, they were wailing. According to Nate's funeral request, there was nothing about 'not crying' after the funeral.
Mum had been so strong, putting on a happy face for months after her son died just to fulfil his wishes and the moment, she saw an opening to mourn him how she wanted, she showed no iota of restraint whatsoever.
'Mum, oh mum.' I sat beside her.
Tears had gathered in my eyes too.
'My son is dead. I was not there to talk him down and so he took his own life. I am not a good mother. I am terrible at it.' Mum sobbed.
'No mum, you're not a terrible woman. Nate just made mistakes and ended up paying with his life. It is not anyone's fault.' I said.
