'Unfortunately, I do mind. My boyfriend and I came here for a quiet morning together so please, let us do what we came here for.' She smiled back.
'No, Sasha, let's make Kassy feel welcome.' Vincent stared at me.
'Why? We came here to get away from people, not welcome them.' She looked at me.
'Be nice now, Sasha. I'm a pregnant girl that means no harm.'
'You're pregnant?' Vincent was shocked.
'Yes, but let's not focus on that. I know your girl doesn't want me here, so I'll just leave. I guess I'll be seeing you around.' I walked away from them.
I felt good and full of energy. Mostly because I talked with Mark but also because I knew my twelfth week scan was the next day. I had always just wanted to experience what that scan was going to be like.
When I had no other place to escape to, I went home.
