That was a very nice thing for her to say. It made me feel safe to a very large extent, at least, I could rely on Black sin to save the day if anything happened.
'I'm sorry about that, Black sin. No one deserves to be treated that way, really.' I said.
'Don't worry about me. I grew up and realized life happens but there are some things that just bring that memory back and one of them is seeing a woman such as yourself fight for her child.'
After talking with her, I was more confident on how the exchange was going to go. At least I knew I had the upper hand given that Emily had lost touch with everyone and there was no way she could tell I was with the police.
