'Good for her. I thought she was never going to move on.' I said.

'Me too.' Nate laughed.

It was fun spending time with my family. Normally, I would have been exhausted but I was really happy because I had been deprived of it for so long. 

After my kidnap, I had a different outlook on life. I never took anything for granted anymore because I had no idea when the experience was going to get ripped off from me.

Before going home, Alicia and I stopped for a makeover at the salon. We tagged it 'girls' day out.'

The next day, Marco and I met up at the ice cream shop. He seemed overly excited to see me and I still did not understand why.

'Your hair looks great.' 

I had fixed my hair already. I dyed it all black simply because I liked how it looked on some girls I met at the salon.

'Thanks.' I touched it.

'I just wanted to talk to you because I think I need a friend and you've been nothing but nice to me.'
