I was beginning to give myself an excuse for living Lily's life. I was protecting her mother, I was doing what she would have done if she were in my shoes.

She was wrong. I owed people so many things.
'I'm going back to the therapist. It's probably my turn already.'

I turned back and looked at her, she was standing in so much blood. She had been bleeding.
I ran to her just in time before she fell. I panicked. It did not make any sense that she was bleeding.
After calling an ambulance, I called Eric. He didn't take his call and it made me panic even more.
Before long, the ambulance was there, they took Alicia to the hospital and I had to stay behind to look after Kolin.
I called mum and she was with me as soon as she could.
'What happened?' She was visibly shaken.
