'Jenny is pressing charges.' She said before she left my room.
I had totally forgotten about Jenny. I chose to forget her and somehow, that worked but she was back into my life and my head.
There was nothing much I could do if she pressed charges against Nate, in fact, there was nothing I could do about it.
The night was rough for me, I could barely get any sleep. I kept thinking about what could happen to Nate if he was found guilty.
What bothered me even more was the fact that I was sinking back into a place I had fought so hard to leave.
The next morning, I made my way to Alicia's room.
Thankfully, it was a Saturday and she spent all Saturdays the same way. She woke up very late, watched a little hockey and Eric picked her up for date night in the evening.
