'You can always come to me, Alicia.' I liked her name.
Mum told me the reason she named her Alicia. She said her best friend in high school bore the same name but then they grew apart and they promised each other that they'll name their first daughter's after one another so that they could never forget each other.
After hearing the story, I took the idea to Lily but she said my name was weird because Kassandra was always spelt with a C.
'I don't want to bother you. I know a lot is going on with you, I don't want to be an extra burden.' She turned back and looked at me.
'You're my sister, not a burden.'
'There's a thin line there, Kassy. Enough about this, where do you want to go tomorrow?' She asked.
'I have no place in mind, I just want to go somewhere far away and clear my head. I really need some time away from my reality.'
