"Okay. When are you going to tell me what this is about?" She asked him, once she was out of his hands.
"Nothing. I just wanted to treat you like the royalty you are, Queen Dahlia." He teased her.
She stood to face him and searched his face for any hidden expression and there was none.
"That's quite suspicious." She wiggled her index finger at him.
"What's suspicious? I can't carry my girlfriend in a bridal style?" Jett feigned anger.
Dahlia wasn't moved, she just stared, unconvinced.
"Fine! I felt we'd be getting married soon and I should practice so I don't flop on that day." He smiled sheepishly.
Dahlia nodded her head slowly. Her mood changed immediately. She had completely forgotten that she had accepted to be married to him, out of excitement and that it was around the corner.
She smiled weakly at him.
