Working with Dahlia these past weeks has been amazing. She knew just what to do, how to do it, and when to do it. She was helpful and her contributions were always worthwhile.
He loved that about her and if there was a way he could tell the hospital to always assign her to him, he'd have jumped at it. Till then, he was going to use his power to have her work with him at every given opportunity.
He walked into the hospital and met Dahlia settling into her desk with some other nurses who had just reported to work.
He exchanged greetings with them and directed his next question to the receptionist:
"I was told there's an emergency."
"Yes, Sir," the nurse replied, chewing gum loudly.
"What ward?"
"Ward 312, Sir."
"Okay, thank you. And I think it'd quite early for you to be chewing gum as loudly as you are doing now," he advised, "Nurse Dahlia, please get everything ready for the patient in 312. I'd be out in a minute."
