A nurse was there earlier to give him the drugs and after taking the drugs, he was able to make out with her just before she left hurriedly when she heard a footstep in the corridor. Elio understood that the real reason this nurse had come too was not really because of the drugs. He could tell that it was more because she wanted to use that as an opportunity to be alone with him and unluckily for her, Matteo does not look like he is leaving anytime soon.
"oh wow. I am so sorry. I did not know. I will take this back then." She said, embarrassed.
Elio wished that Matteo was not around, he would have made it less awkward for the nurse but with Matteo staring at her like he was irritated by her presence, it was hard to save the situation.
"don't be sorry. I am sure the other nurse must have forgotten to tick it off you guys' list. I am sorry on her behalf for making you go through the stress of bringing these things here." Elio said.
