He stood outside and watched the two brothers talk, even though he could barely make out what they were saying.
"Please, get on with it. I just want to get out of here as soon as I can," He heard Elio telling Matteo, "I really want to be able to pick my life up from where it stopped before all of these happened, Matteo. I want to remember who you are to me, please. Help me."
Dr. Jett's eyes watered as he remembered when he was in the same position Matteo is presently with Susan. He wouldn't sit back and watch anything happen to Elio, because he knew how hurt Matteo will be if anything does.
'I'll do everything I can.' He thought within himself.
He notices that their discussion was coming to an end and makes to leave, but not without noticing the fist bump they shared and the wink Elio made at Matteo.
He paused his movement and thought something doesn't seem to add up.
