After playing four rounds of the game, he lost all the money he had gotten to a man on the table. Elio went back to the transfer guy and got another extra cash from the man. This time, the cash he got was even larger than the previous one he got. Even though the man raised his brows at Elio, he didn't say anything. Elio went back to the table and resumed the game, betting even bigger amounts this time around. It wasn't that Elio was after winning but he simply enjoyed the pleasure he got from playing the card game.
When the cards had been dealt again, Elio played first and winced when he saw the cards he had played. He had automatically lost the game even before he saw the cards with the rest of the people. His guess was confirmed as of right when the rest of the people played and Elio's card was indeed the lowest. After he lost the second round of money with him, he accepted defeat and got up from the table.
