Aaman answered mysteriously in his thin, feminine voice, "This Black pearl… Protect it with your life. Will you?"
Helen didn't even think for a second, before shaking her head positively. She was already feeling better than before. Only the presence of that mysterious physician succeeded to regain her strength a lot. She wasn't having trouble breathing anymore. Helen began to trust him already.
Aaman smirked mysteriously as he nodded his head, approaching Helen, "Very well, Dear. Then, give me your hand."
One of the maids already placed a bowl of lukewarm water near the door. Aaman held that bowl in front of Helen as he pulled out a small knife. He spoke again as if he was confirming Helen's answer, "Helen, should we begin? Are you ready to sacrifice yourself for the sake of your son?"
"Ah! Son?"
