"Aren't you?"
The First Prince looked at Kai intently, anticipating an answer. But, breaking eye contact, Kai looked forward. The greenery of the Berin Valley was very eye-soothing. He didn't answer the First Prince.
Clearing his throat, the First Prince decreased the distance between his and Kai's horse as he asked again in his husky voice, "Kai? Why are you silent? Answer me."
After a little pause, Kai answered, sighing loudly, "Yes, First Brother. I am feeling bad for her. She trusted me and I just left like this. I have made a grave mistake. I should have at least informed her-"
"Why? Why are you so worried for an ordinary villager of Arcelia? Kai, you are the Third Prince of Fintan. Have you forgotten that?"
Kai's face darkened as he countered instantly, "First Brother, without the help of that ordinary girl, we wouldn't even be able to escape from Arcelia."
