'What an eventful first day!…'
Ryder ordered the guards to clear the lavender lawn, declaring the end of the event. While gossiping and chatting among themselves, the guests took their leave one by one, and soon, the lawn became empty, leaving a few guards and maids who were cleaning up.
Except for Ryder, all the Princes also left helplessly, stealing a glance at Aylin's pitiful condition. But, none of them had the power to go against Her Majesty and help Aylin.
The empty lavender lawn was looking more pleasant and serene in the bright and scorching rays of the sun.
Looking at the ground, Aylin was playing with the grass when a pair of boots stopped just in front of her. She instantly looked up with a confused face and she was greeted by a handsome face of Ryder.
Flashing his mocking smirk, he asked in a taunting voice, "So? How are you feeling after getting punished for the first time, Princess?? Oh! Sorry… I should call you maid, right?"
