Part 1
"The meatballs are delicious, aren't they?" I asked while stirring my meatball gravy.
There was no answer, I saw him, it turned out that Ridho was busy with his cellphone.
"Bang Ridho!" I shouted in his ear. He was shocked as he rubbed his ear. Feel the buds, who tells you to eat again, they are even fun with their cellphones.
"What the hell, Ra, my ear hurts, brother," he muttered. "Eat the meatball first until it's cold. Who are you chatting with?" I asked. "Same Gita, why? Jealous?" he asked. I pouted, too lazy to answer. I already know his next answer.
"You can't be jealous like that. Gita and I have been friends since middle school until now we're both in college." Well, I've already memorized his answer like that.
"I'm not jealous, Ridho al Fatih, only when you're eating, it's done first. Then you can continue to chat again. What are you talking about anyway, why don't you get bored of chatting first?"
"It's normal Ra, starting from college assignments, friends, lecturer killer. How do you understand, you're still a high school student." he teased.
"Halah, not until half a year from now I will also go to college. Very arrogant, not too arrogant like that."
Bang Ridho just laughed, he ruffled my hair. Then we continued to eat meatballs in silence. To be honest, deep in my heart, I'm jealous of Gita's friend, Ridho's best friend.
They have been friends since middle school until now. Bang Ridho is indeed my boyfriend, but sometimes he pays more attention to his best friend Gita than I am his girlfriend. If I protest, pearls of wisdom have become his mainstay.
"Let's go home, bro, it's noon. I'll worry again later." take me then.
Bang Ridho followed me to the parking lot after paying the cashier. On the way I was silent a lot, Ridho also seemed to be lazy to talk. Arriving at the house, Bang Ridho immediately said goodbye because he said he had business.
"Assalamualaikum Mama."
"Waalaikumsalam, why are you late coming home Ra?" asked mom.
"Yes Ma, I'm sorry. I ate meatballs with Ridho first." I answered.
"Hmm, that's your habit, Ra, it's in vain, Mama, you've been busy cooking for a long time." I hugged my mom who was sulking, even though I knew she wasn't serious.
"I'm sorry Ma, I won't do it again tomorrow. I promise."
"Yeah, change clothes over there. Smells sour." Mama covered her nose with a funny face that made me laugh.
I pinched the tip of my mom's nose before running into my room.

The final exam is in sight, I have to study hard. I don't want to disappoint mom and dad. Meanwhile, Ridho and I made an agreement not to contact each other until I finished the exam.
So that I can focus on studying and be able to graduate with satisfactory grades.
I finally finished the final exam, I was relieved and sure that my grades would not disappoint my parents. After school with my classmates, I went to the Mall to celebrate my friend's birthday.
As I was about to enter the restaurant my eyes caught a glimpse like the reflection of Riďho's. I turned to the boutique opposite the restaurant, that's right, Ridho.
He was with a woman who was choosing a shirt beside him. I don't know who the woman is, because her position is standing with her back to me.
"Bang Ridho!" I said slowly.
Bang Ridho turned to me and was surprised to see me. But a moment later he calmed down and returned my greeting.
"Eh Dora, what are you doing here. Isn't it still a test huh?" he asked.
"Today is the last one, I---," I haven't finished talking yet. His female friend came over to us. It turns out that Sis Gita is Ridho's best friend.
"Do you think which one is better?" he asked without looking at me at all.
"Just the blue one." Ridho replied.
"Okay, there's Doraemon, how are you, deck?" Sis Gita asked me.
"Okay sis." I answered even though I didn't like it when she called me Doraemon.
She smiled and walked over to the cashier. Bang Ridho looked at me then looked at Sis Gita.
"You just continue the event with your friends, Ra. Brother will come home tonight. Brother will take Gita home first." And without my approval, Ridho went to the cashier.
Then the two of them walked out of the boutique without even looking at me. My heart hurts to feel ignored.
"Bang don't ever come to my house again. We broke up!"
I sent a WA message to Bang Ridho. Sent and a few seconds later the message is read. But I waited a few minutes, still no response. I went home, lost my appetite. In the angkot heading home I kept thinking.
Actually, what did Ridho think of me all this time. When I'm with him, he still wants to text or call Gita's sister. But when he was with Gita, he didn't respond or think I was important.
That night I was still lying in the room, when my mother told me that Ridho was in front. I was lazy to meet because mom forced me out.
"What's going on here, bro? Wasn't my message clear, right?" I asked.
He looked at me who was still standing in front of the door.
"Sit down first Ra, it's not good to talk while standing." I sat on a chair on the porch, looking down at the deserted street at the moment.
"You're angry Ra, brother I'm sorry then!"
It's easy, sorry, I looked at him who was also looking at me. He took my hand, gripped it very hard.
"You know that Dora is angry because of what happened this afternoon, right? I'm sorry, Ra."
I shook my head, I pulled my hand that was in his grip.
"Go home, bro, I don't want to see you again. Brother... just go with Gita. I can't stand between both of you." I answered.
I stood up and walked in.
"Ra, we're just friends. Nothing more, you know that right?"
"That's why I don't want to be your boyfriend anymore.
If being a friend is a priority for you. I choose us to be friends. Come home, I want to sleep!" I entered the house, I closed the door without heeding the call. Let him rethink our relationship.
