Mors charges at Shesha with a sword in hand. She raises her halberd and once Mors got close enough, swings it at him. Mors crouches down as he makes two copies with spears appear behind her. The copies thrust at her, but with a quick spin, she swings her halberd at them. Cutting them in half in one strike.
'Shit!'
Looks like the iron upgrade is useless when the opponent has an extra effect on their weapon. Mors stands up and arrives in front of her. He swings his sword at her, she was only able to nearly dodge the sword attack. The sword left a small scratch in her magical armor.
Mors spins around as he deals with the upcoming two lightning hawks that try to backstab him. Mors moves Qi to his legs and then jumps upwards. Dodging an attack made by Shesha. He could feel the heavy pressure of the dark clouds that cover the sky.
The sky becomes lights up for a few seconds, Mors' shadow is cast on the female chief below him. Mor's changes from his sword to his axe. Raising the axe sky high he comes crashing down. Shesha aim her halberd at Mors, like a spike, Mors could not control his movement while in the air.
So, he bites his lips and clenches his teeth. The halberd pierces his body, his stomach now having a hole inside of it. The lightning from the halberd enters his body and begins cooking him at high speeds. His blood becomes black, and his organs start to fail.
But he can't stop now!
He swings his axe at the now-defenseless Shesha. Who could do nothing as the axe meets her head.
BOOM!
A large explosion and shock wave comes from the strike. Shesha eyes widen with surprise as her armors break into pieces. Cracks appear in her skin and body. Magic started to seep out of her body as the skies become uncontrollable. The roar of the sky shakes the entire island.
An enormous lightning bolt came crashing down on Shesha. The last thing she saw was Mors drinking something.
'It's my lost'
BOOM!
The lightning bolt consumes Shesha body and soul. Everything around her become black or ash. Not even the other Lightning Hawks were able to dodge the attack completely. Their skin was black as coal. Their wings were roasted. Their eyes were unfocused.
"Shit…..thank god….I got potions from the Naga city"
Mors says as he takes out another red color potion bottle and downs it. His back was resting against a tree's rough bark. The potion started to heal his body at a very slow rate. This was not a potion from the system, but one made naturally in this world. The Naga city they raided had a lot of loot.
Gold, metals, weapons, and materials all were useful. Mors of course took all of it, the Ghosts did not want it anyways.
"Shit…I really can't rely on that system too much."
Mors said to himself. The roaring sky was still alive. Mors stays seated for a while. He ignored the groaning and hurt lightning hawks that are scattered around him. He fought against the urge to close his eyes. He could not sleep now, not when he still missing one ingredient.
He pushes himself to stand up, fighting against the symptoms of Qi depletion. He makes some copies to finish off the remaining Hawks. Putting them out of their misery. Mor's eyes could not help but wonder at the large black hole a few meters in front of him.
Truly nothing remains of the person he was fighting. If he had not covered his body with his remaining Qi he would have probably died. But before he can take his first step, he notices something shining in the piles of ash. He walks over to that shining thing with slow steps.
Holding his stomach as to not let the wound open up again. When he arrives, he slowly bends his knees. He grabs the hard object from the pile of ash. What lay in his hand was a solid piece of wood that has become petrified. A smile could not help but form on his face.
"Looks like I got all the materials I need."
Mors said to himself before he continue to look through the pile of ash. After 30 minutes of searching, he found five more pieces of [Petrified Wood]. With all materials on hand, Mors walks towards the beach of the island. He could ahead and loot the Hawk village. But he has neither the energy nor health to do so.
"I just want to sleep on solid ground with a comfortable bed and blanket. A bath as well. I really need a bath"
Mors walks through the jungle with calm. Making sure to drink a healing potion every 10 minutes to heal his body. He will sometimes even bite his own lips to keep himself from falling over and sleeping. His second dantia working overtime to replenish his Qi.
His first dantia stretched itself to its limit to healing Mors current wounds.
"When I get home I got to upgrade my healing capabilities. I wonder how much [Troll Blood] cost"
Mors stop talking to himself once he saw the oh-so-familiar blue silhouette of the Ghost ship. There was only one person on that ship. The female captain Izora. When she saw Mors all by himself and wounded, she rush out of the ship and towards him.
"Second Death! Are you ok!? What happend to everyone else!?"
"I am not ok and everyone else has been sent to the underworld. And you should follow them"
"Bu-"
"My mission here is done. They already got what they wanted; it is time for you to get your reward as well"
"Ah- of course my lord."
She said with a respectful tone once she notice Mor's mood. With a soft nod of his head, Mors takes out his sword and points at her.
"I should see you soon captain"
"I wish you luck in your future endeavors my lord"
"Thank you, now it's time to repay your debt"
Mors said as he swings his sword and kills Izora. Her body turns to blue smokes as it flew to the sky. The Ghost ship seem to follow its captain to the underworld, as it too disappear. Mors breaths in as he closes his eyes and starts thinking of leaving this 'Tower'.
After 30 seconds he opens his eyes and sees a door in front of him.
"Truly mysterious. If this is truly another world, why is it connected to Zufulong? Are all towers like this? Ah, so many questions."
He said as he opens the door and walks into its pitch-black depths. It did not take long for the light to enter Mor's eyes again, as he found himself outside of the tower. Breathing in the oh-so-familiar air.
"I am back-"
He said before falling to the ground, tired and devastated.
