In the lightning hawk village, a secret meeting was being held. In this meeting were the village chief, the second strongest male in the village, the oldest priest, and the guard captain. The mood of the meeting was heavy. The air was still, and their faces were painted with frowns.
The first one to break the silence was no other than the female chief.
"I am sure you all felt the change in magic. Dhan and his group must have gotten into a fight."
The sound of a fist hitting the round wooden table made everyone focus on the guard captain.
"I knew we should have not trusted that other worlder! Now we lost a good man for believing the lies that came out of the other worlder mouth!"
"Captain! Hold your tongue, we still don't know if Dhan and the others are dead. For all we know they fought one of the mons-"
"High Priest! Dhan is one of the strongest males! He does not need magic to deal with the monsters of this island! It must be the other worlder! They fought the other worlder!"
"Do not speak with confidence on things you don't know!"
The high priest and the captain continue to bicker. Only the soft sigh of their chief made their mouths stop.
"I am inclined to believe the captain's words. We should not have trusted that other worlder from the start. But I also believe that is best to confirm the situation before continuing. Let's wait till daybreak. Then another team will go to the beach and look for Dhan team"
"And if we don't find him?"
"Then we must do what we should have done from the start. Killed the other worlder."
-------Mors Pov-----
Light hits Mors face, his body slowly heating up from the sunlight. His eyes fight to stay close, but soon lose the fight as Mors opens his eyes and slowly sits up. Mors winces from a splitting head. His muscles scream in pain as he moves his hand to hold his head.
"Shit…what happen-"
"Second Death! You are awake! Thank your blessed name!"
"Oh Catox. What happe- never mind. I remember now."
He seems to be back in the ghost ship. He looks at the worry face of Catox.
"Tell me what is the current situation."
"In the time you were out, the lightning hawks came to investigate. A fight soon ensued, and we lost a couple of ghosts. But we also killed some of their troops. We suspected that war is the only thing left for us to do. Our current troops might not be enough to hold them back. But if you join the battle, my lord, I believe we will win. "
"Looks like they did not believe my words, seeing as they attack me first."
"How dare they! We were peaceful from the start, and this is how they answer us!?"
"Calm down Catox, the dice have been cast and there is nothing we can do. Let us deal with this."
"Yes, my lord. Oh, before I forget. We found this below you yesterday."
Catox takes out a physical brown leather bag and holds it up to Mors. Mors grabs the bag and opens it up. The inside of the bag is full of black crystal-like sand. Mor's eyes widen somewhat before a smile surface on his face.
"Looks like this was the island where the things I wanted are. Looks like the source of the materials lays in the lightning magic hawks wield."
Mors gets out of the physical bed and pats down his dirty clothes. As he walks towards the door, Catox pulls out a black mask. He presents it to Mors as he bows down somewhat.
"My Lord you mask"
"Ah! No wonder my face felt naked. Thank you Catox."
Mors grasp the mask from the Ghost general hands. Mors puts on the mask as he grabs the handle of the door and pulls the door wide open. What greets him were the ghost all bowing down to him. Their weapons at ready. The Ghost knew what will soon follow. But they just need it Mors to confirm it.
A smile surface beneath his mask as Mors raises his fist.
"What are you all waiting for? We have a village to burn!"
The Ghost screams with fervor. Their first raised sky high. After their short war cry the Ghost got out of the ship and started to run towards the island. Mors gathers his Qi on his legs. He then bends them somewhat. He lowers his body center and runs towards the edge of the ship.
Once he reaches the edge, he jumps out of the ship. Using his Qi to enchant his jump height. Mors flies with very little control. As he reaches the peak of the arch, he starts to fall, thankfully he calculated everything correctly as his fall will land him on the beach of the island.
Mors lands on the sand without any difficulties. A small cloud of sand forms around him as the Ghosts finish crossing the water. The Ghost gathers all around him as he summons hundreds of his copies. Mors follow by his little army walks towards the jungle.
"Be careful everyone. They might be hiding an ambush. Their lightning magic is fearsome. Our mission is to destroy their village and make them creatures the last material I want. After that, I should send you all back to the underworld!"
His words inspired the blue color Ghost. As they walk deeper into the jungle, Mors could start to feel more eyes landing on his army. Just like he expected they are waiting in ambush. Mors takes out his spear and rests it against his left shoulder. This made the Ghost wary and raise their guard.
'Come out little birds~ I can't wait to kill you all to see my wife again!'
