Chapter 211 - Lightning Island Part 1

The raging sea battle against the wooden and spirit ship. Water got on the deck of the ship, but its crew was unaffected by the slippery floor. The harsh tone of the female captain echoes in the ears of the Ghost pirates.

"Lower the sails! Get the deck dry!- Sea creatures! Send them back to the embrace of water!"

Izora screams as she tries to control and steer the Ghost ship. Plant base monster started to climb the side of the Ghost ship. The Ghost pirates aim their guns at the sea creatures. Their soul-piercing bullets hit the creatures as they scream in pain and blue smoke came out of them.

But the sea creatures did not stop their climb. Their plant-like claws dig deep into the Ghost ship. These creatures were naturally blessed by the rivers of water magic. The ethereal form of the ship did not provide much protection against things enchanted by magic.

As the creatures got closer to climbing over to the deck. The ghosts change to their melee weapons. But as the first creature peeked is face, it was greeted with a grey color spear piercing its head. It was the only creature that meet its end at the hand of Mors copies.

The body of dead sea creatures enters the raging sea. Their green color blood tainting the waters around the ship. Slowly attracting more creatures to the ship.

"-! Land! I see land!"

"Alright, bois! We are almost on dry land! Keep those fuckers out of my goddamn ship!"

Izora's cruel words echo in the back of everyone's minds. Not even Mors, an almost deity/ ruler to those of the underworld were saved from her barrage of insults and orders.

'She is a completely different person when she is in her ship.'

Mors thought to himself with a cheeky smile under his black mask. He continues to summon his copies to deal with the sea creatures that were about to climb over. It was thanks to all the extra manpower that he can summon that allow the Ghost to continue with their task of keeping the ship afloat.

'Why are they trying too hard to keep a Ghost ship above water?- well better for me as I can't breathe underwater.'

Useless thoughts like that circle around Mor's mind. As grander and weirder creatures attack the ship. Mors was forced to join the battle himself. Using his weapons and skills to kill as many of these creatures as possible. Soon at the very edge of Mors' eyesight, he saw a large shadow moving toward them.

"Shit! Cannons! Fire at will! Clear the pathway!"

The cannons, who seem to have a mind of their own aim at the large shadow that is rushing towards the left side of the ship. The Ghost started to shoot the sea creatures that were covering the gun ports. Mors rushes to the left side of the ship as he looks down. His eyes land on the many sea creatures that are climbing.

The next seconds countless copies of himself appear and dealt with the sea creatures. Allowing the cannons free range to shoot their blue balls of energy at the creature approaching the left side of the ship. The balls of energy fly through the sky. Illuminating their surroundings.

The balls of energy hit the shadow as its figure got partially revealed to the crew of the Ghost ship. A large shark-like thing with multiple tentacles coming out of its body.

"Sea Stalker! Cannons fire again!"

The cannons recharge as they shoot another volley of blue fireballs of energy at the upcoming Sea Stalker. The cannon's balls hit the monster once again. This time enough to end its life. Its blood spreads into the deep blue sea.

"We are almost inland! Hold on!"

General Catox scream out as he did his sword into the skull of a crap-like monster. The Ghost fought tooth and nail against the sea creatures. The storm above them grew in strength. Its lightning strikes became precise as they started to target the ship.

Some unfortunate Ghost got evaporated as lightning hit their bodies. The bolts of lightning pierce through the ship and left behind large holes. The female captain screams in pain as she holds onto her chest.

"Shit! This storm is being controlled! Hold! Bois, we are almost breaking through!"

"We are getting overrun!"

One Ghost scream out as her side of the ship could not deal with the influx of water and sea creatures.

"They are coming from below!"

One Ghost scream as he kicks the door that leads to the lower decks close. Catching the arm of a sea creature between the door and the hinge. The arm now flopping in the deck as it got separated from its owner. Mors controls the music of this chaotic battlefield. Boosting the strength of the Ghost somewhat.

Mors with his copies jumps from place to place. Dealing with any sea creature that came into the deck. Soon all of Mors melee weapons became covered in blood, scales, and plants. The storm got more intense as a large lightning bolt started to build up in the sky.

Stronger sea creatures started to emerge from the deep sea. This was looking bleak for the Ghost Ship. Till they broke through the storm.

Almost like they cross over to a new place. The sky was bright blue and clear. The sea below them was clear and soft. The air is soft like feathers. Behind them was a visible wall of storm clouds. They could still see the sea monsters that were about to swarm them.

"There are still in the ship! Kill them!"

One Ghost said as everyone went back to killing the remaining sea creatures that occupied the boat. As the boat approach the shore of the pristine large tropical island, it became clear of sea creatures. The ship itself was badly damage and slowly filled up with water.

"We made it…thank Second Death we did. Alright! We will land here and repair the ship!"

Said the female captain. As none notice the eyes that were following the ship from the island.
