On the coast of a medium-small island lays a ghostly ship. The ship is dips between the ghostly plane and the material plane. The ship is medium is size. No flags flow from their mast. The ship has a line of gunports. These ghostly cannons shoot balls of pure blue energy.
These balls affect both the body and soul. The cannons aim at the large fight that is happening on the shore of the small island. Two groups of people are fighting. One group is lizard-like people, with the upper part of a humanoid and the lower that of a snake.
The Naga is accompanied by multiple beasts of war. Reptile monsters like their masters. These snake-like monsters have strong poisonous bites. There are some of these snakes that breathe poison breath on their enemies. As their masters have an innate immunity to poison and toxins.
Within the Naga force of 200 are evolved Nagas. One of these evolved forms is those with four arms. Their bodies are larger and thicker compared to their two-arm selves. These true Naga warriors are the true bread and butter of the Naga forces.
Another form of the Nagas is those that have a weird glowing green gem in the middle of their chest. There are only a few of these Nagas in the fighting force. This Nagas are Naga Conduits. Arm with staffs with a ghostly blue gem on its tip. These Nagas open their mouths and speak something.
The next second blue balls of energy come out of the staff of the Nagas. These balls of energy fly toward the enemies of the Nagas. Ghostly humanoids jump between aethereal and physical at random. These balls of energy hit some of the ghosts and caught them in the crossfire of some nearby Nagas.
The Ghost and the Nagas scream in pain as blue smoke comes out of their bodies. The Ghost was the one most affected by this as her form started to lose color and shape. The Nagas felt weak and without energy like their lifespan has been stolen from them.
But they did not care as with their Ghost enchanted swords they cut down the Ghost in front of them. The Ghost side of the battle had around 400 of them. They are armed with cutglass. They wore sailor-like clothing. Very lightly armor as their Ghostly form provided the best defense against normal nonmagical attacks.
Some of the ghosts were armed with gunpower rifles and pistols. This Ghost will shoot ghostly bullets at their enemies. The bullets go through the green scales of the Nagas. The Nagas that got hit screamed in pain as blue smoke come out of their bodies.
The commander of the Ghost force screams out orders.
"Keep on fighting! We must liberate our brothers and sisters!"
The Ghost commander looks like old fashion pirate. Arm with a cutglass and a flit and steel pistol. This Ghost will also cast spells from time to time. Things like blue soul spikes from the ground and a similar ball of blue energy the Naga conduits cast.
The fierce battle between the two sides was slowly tipping in the Naga's favor. Even with their lower numbers, their strong mages provided crucial support in this battle. The Ghost commander started to grow more and more impatient. Holding on to the brow bag that hangs from his waist.
Many of the ghosts have bags like this. Their fight with the Nagas centers around the contents inside the bags. On the edge of the battlefield, a singular Ghost tries its best to fight against the Naga recruit in front of him. Dodging the deadly Ghost-enchanted sword when he could and attacking with his own sword when given the chance.
As the two fought, the sound of cannon fire echoed through the battlefield. As from the ship, flying in an arc, as large balls of blue ghostly energy. Some of the cannon balls land on the battlefield as they do a large amounts of damage to the Naga army.
The rest of the cannon balls landed outside the battlefield. Hitting the thick jungle trees or the shore of the island. The Ghost dodges the attack of the Naga as he counters attacks with his sword. Going through the Naga body as blue smoke comes out of the Naga's body, making it scream in pain.
As the two fought, the Ghost felt something. A sense of calling. A figure of great importance has arrived. He could not control himself as he moves his eyes away from the Naga to look at the mysterious figure at the edge of the jungle. Only one thought went through the Ghost's mind.
'Other Worlder!
This is a name given to the figures that the crew will run across from time to time. Figure with strong but weird magical powers. All speak in a language no one can understand. The figures will kill and destroy everything on their way. Earning the nickname "Destruction Fiends".
This field is dressed in a similar style as past friends. A black mask covers its face only letting its brow eyes visible. This figure looks at the Ghost and the Naga, who has also stopped to look at it. The figure looks at the battlefield for a few seconds before moving toward it.
"Shit!"
The Ghost could not help but said as he saw Mors rushing towards the battlefield. In the next second a similar figure color in grey appear next to the Naga. This figure is armed with an axe, in a split second the head of the Naga is split apart by the axe the grey figure was holding. After it did its parts the figure disappears like a ghost.
All around the battlefield, similar things started to appear. Throwing everything into disarray. But this grey ghost seems to help the Ghost. The Ghost commander screams out an order as he processes everything in seconds.
"Retreat to the ship! Retreat and gather as many of the swords as you can!"
The commander said as his surviving troops did as he said. The commander looks to his side as he a figure in his rearview.
"So, you are the commander of this force."
Mors said to the commander, his smile hidden by his black mask. Mors could feel that the Ghost commander is close to breaking through to the general stage.
"…You can speak our language?"
"Of course, a perk of being Death."
"Death?---Death!"
The Ghost commander said with surprise. But the next second it turns into disdain and hostility.
"Don't lie! I don't feel an ounce of Death in you!"
"I see, so it's by touch."
"Wh-"
Mors touches the Ghost commander as his eyes turn cloudy and dark. The commander saw a bottomless pit. From this pit came forward a primordial aura. Skeletons, Ghosts, and zombies different matters of undead creatures started to crawl out of the pit.
This undead creates made a large mountain, on top of this mountain of undead is a figure standing up. Looking up at the black abyss sky. This figure had the same aura as the pit the undead came from. A vertical infinity sign floated above the figurehead.
The figure is nothing more than a primordial force of nature. An aspect of the winds of deaths.
