The room has gone quiet as the two couples can be seen sitting down on their knees in front of an old woman. The woman is wearing a long red dress, with countless symbologies of that of dragons. The woman is holding into a long staff. One of the ends of the staff has the head of a dragon made from gold attached to it.
The woman has long flowing brown color hair. From her waist hangs a bag full of materials she needs for this ceremony. Between her and the two couples is a long table that is very close to the floor. The woman with her eyes closes started to pray.
Chanting to a greater mystical force. The guess of this celebration had their mouth close. Their hands in prayer as they also chant in their own quiet minds. The old woman continues to chant, her eyes close as she moves the staff. Hitting the head of Mors softly with the gold dragon head.
"I gift your blessings of strength, calmness, and fertility young one"
She repeated the same phrase as she does the same to Zhihui, Song, and Xinyang. As the chanting stops the woman opens her eyes, reviling her soft green color eyes. She sat down on her knees as well, her right hand reaching into the bag that hangs from her waist. As she takes out some red color leaves.
On the table between her and the two couples, is a tea set. The cups have a soft pinkish/reddish color to them. The teapot also has the same distinct color as the teacups. She places some of these leaves in each of the teacups. Before purring the hot steaming tea into the cups.
The colorless tea easily distains the red color from the leaves. As the liquid quickly picks up the red color from the leaves. The older woman pushes a teacup toward Mors as she spoke.
"Speak your thanks child then drink the tea"
Mors nodded his head as he softly picks up the teacup, bringing it to his lips, breathing in the hot air as he spoke.
"I thank Zhihui's parents for bringing her into this world. For the hard work, they did to raise her and protect her. For their guidance in her life to make her into the woman is she today. "
Mors finishes speaking as he brings the teacup to his lips and started to drink the tasteless tea. He made sure to not drink the now colorless leaves. Leaving them on the teacup as he places the teacup down with elegant movements. The old woman nodded her head as she pushes a teacup toward Zhihui.
"Speak your thanks child then drink the tea"
Zhihui copies Mors movement don't to the smallest detail. Breathing in the hot air from the tea as she spoke.
"I thank Ming's parents for bringing him into this world. For the hard work, they did to raise him and protect him. For their guidance in his life to make him into the man that he is today" As the final words leave her lips, she drinks the tea. Making sure to not drink the leaves.
Putting the teacup down, Song and Xinyang did the same thing. As all of them finish giving their thanks, the old woman smiles softly as she takes out another thing from her bag. A small bottle full of a thick white paste. The woman opens the bottle and pours some of the white paste into her left hand.
She places the bottle on the table, looking at Mors as she started to do a small prayer. Getting her index and middle finger of her right-hand cover in this paste. She started to do a small symbol on Mors forehead. She then goes ahead and a similar symbol on Zhihui forehead. Looking like a complementary symbol to the one Mors has.
She tops at Zhihui she looks at Mors and Zhihui.
"Child you may now say your vows to each other, Ming can go first"
Mors nods his head as he started to speak his vows to Zhihui.
"I Ming pledge my whole life to Zhihui. To protect her in her times in need. To comfort her when she needs it. To be her only equal under the heaven. Till [Death] claim us"
The priest nods her head as she looks at Zhihui, giving Zhihui the clue to start her own vows.
"I Zhihui pledge my whole life to Ming. To guide him when he is the most lost. To support his heart and comfort him in his most difficult times. To be his only equal under heaven till [Death] claim us"
The priest nods her head once again, as she started to do the same thing to Song and Xinyang. As this couple also did their own bows. As the two couples finish their bows the priest stands up and speaks to the crowd.
"Today we bear witness to a union between two families and between two equals! In the presence of the Celestial Dragon, their marriage will be strong and stable. From today onward I proclaim Zhihui and Ming husband and wife. I proclaim Xinyang and Song husband and wife! The celebrations can officially start!"
