The group made its way deeper into the natural caves of the mountain. Thankfully the Dwarf brought with them candle-lit lanterns. The lanterns have a metal handle, making them easy to hold. Neither Mors nor the Dwarf had dark vision, so having a source of light is a necessity.
The person leading the party is the Dwarf leader, Bujir. Bujir expended a lot of his time before becoming a master crafter as a lumberjack. Because the Dwarf loved to craft and create new things, everyone wanted to just close their doors and craft to their heart's desire. Some even become possessed by the need to craft.
But society can't function with only crafters. So, a system was developed, as Dwarf are split into multiple groups and each group rotates on what job they do. From lumberjacks to miners, smelters, farmers, and any other job that needs it. Sometimes dwarfs take a liking to a very specific job, as they stay in that job and make it their side hobby. Never ever overtaking their desire for crafting.
Bujir as a lumberjack expended a lot of time outside in the small forests that grow in the Green Sea. Because those forests are usually far away, he needs it to learn how to navigate his surroundings and find his way back home. So, it made sense for him to lead the party and not get them loss. Not like it was too hard, as the Artificial Spirits left behind a trail of them of molten stone.
The heat that lingers within these tunnels made the party sweat. But soon their eyes focus on the formless magma that came from around the corner. It is hard to miss these things, as they are a source of immense heat and light. But as the Artificial Spirit makes itself known, it is met with a rain of arrows.
"I will handle this"
Mors said as countless yellow arrows made from Mors copies pierce the body of the Artificial Spirit, as its body gets riddled with holes. Its black core becomes visible, and a yellow Mors with a sword appears next to it. With a swift attack and elegant movement of his feet. The sword pierces the black core and the Artificial Spirit losses its life.
This is not the first time they have seen one of these Spirits on their journey to find the Magma Spirit. While each individual Dwarf wanted to take care of it, it made more sense for Mors to attack the Artificial Spirits with his copies. Bujir likes to close and personal and fight with an axe and shield. As someone with an affinity for the element of Earth and skills that boost his defense. He is someone that takes little damage while dealing alot.
Girina fights with double axes, using skills that boost her defense and speed. Her armor is a mix of leather and metal. Like Mors will call it, she serves as a sub DPS and sub tank. Okin has the most unorthodox weapon within the party. A heavy metal ball that is being held by a metal chain, the weapon has no handle but enough chain to wrap around your body and hand.
This type of weapon is called the Meteor hammer, this type of weapon comes from a faraway land called the Dragon Empire Sect. Rare within the sects itself, even rarer out here in this remote region. No one knew how Okin came to know of a weapon like this, maybe he created this weapon without prior knowledge of its existence.
Not like it matter, for all the equipment the Dwarf master crafter has on themselves were made by them. All are of the greatest quality and made of the best material this tribe can get their hands on. Wearing simple leather armor, the Meteor hammer is very strong and flexible. Allowing for attacks that a normal hammer won't be able to do.
He is the physical DPS of the group. Seche is a cultivator that focuses on mythical arts, with her element being water. While staying away from the front lines, wearing a traditional Dwarf dress. She attacks the enemy with water attacks, either in solid or liquid form. She is the magic DPS of the group as well as acting as a small healer.
Ile is dressed in simple leather armor, in his back hangs a handcrafter rifle, and on his waist are two small handguns. With multiple bags of gunpowder and bullets. He is the glass cannon of the party. Normally normal bullets won't be enough to damage or kill the Artificial Spirits. But the bullets he has been crafted in a way that they explode on impact. Taking off large chunks of the Artificial Spirit body.
Then of course you have Mors, who is truly a good DPS. Being able to summon lots of copies of himself and with skills of a very high stage. Even doe he is of a lower stage than the rest of the Dwarf, he is still holding his own within the rest of the party. The party continues to explore the cave tunnel system, following the trail that the Artificial Spirit left behind.
Soon the party is hit with a wave of intense heat and light. Strong enough to blind them and make them sweat even more. In front of them lays a semi-large cave room, in there were a large amount of Artificial Spirits. A total number of 30 warrior stages and 3 commander stages. This room seems to be some type of waiting room for the spirits. Because enough of them have gathered here for long enough. Small rivers and lakes of magma form in this cave room.
As the party and the Artificial Spirits notice each other, both groups knew that only one outcome can come out of this. A fight to the death to see who is left standing. Normally the group with the number advantage will have well, an advantage over the group with the lower numbers.
The leader of the party, Bujir gets himself ready. Axe and shield at hand. The rest of the party soon follows as they arm themselves with their weapons. Mors takes out his bow and arrow, ready to use it and shoot down any of the spirits. He is using a rare stage bow that he got from War's legacy.
Bujir screams out loud, attracting the attention of the Artificial Spirits. The roar is a skill that allows gathering the attention of low-intelligence creatures. It doesn't work as well with creatures of higher intelligence. In a small whisper, Mors says to himself.
