[ A few Minutes before the Downsizing ]
Back with Lucas, Jerome, Tim and Akira.
As Jerome opens the C.D case he sees that instead of a game C.D it was a Music C.D.
As he looks back towards Akira who was now lying on floor while Lucas poking him with a chocolate bar. And then he looks down towards his hands awkwardly as to what to do now.
" Jerome, start the game already. " Says Lucas as he gets up to plug in the controllers.
Tim who just came back to the room with three soft drinks in his hand, as he walks over towards Akira to give him one he also says " Looks like its going to rain, You're lucky Akira you didn't have to get wet while coming here. Here you can have this to cool down. "
"We Can't play the game guys." Says Jerome as he looks glared at Akira who is finally getting some sense back as he drinks the soft-drink.
" What? Why? give it here. Whats wrong? " says Lucas as he walks towards me and snatches the C.D from my hand.
"Hahaha, Its not ever a game C.D its a Music one.
Oh This is a nice band can i keep this." says Lucas with a now taken out C.D in his hand.
Phftttt, Akira does a spit take as he showers the bed with soft-drink. " N..no way, I ran all the way back home for that. Ahhhhh " as he breaks down but just as quickly recovers and runs up to Lucas to examine the C.D.
" Ahh, You idiot. Why are you so hell bent on ruining my bed. " Says Tim as he quickly starts to clean his bed.
"This, Oh Yeah. I was playing this C.D yesterday and i really liked the song, but i didn't have somewhere to put it so I.I put it in the games case. Hehehe. I forgot. " As Akira scratched the back of his head laughing.
Tim comes in from behind him looking menacing
and make's a fist. " Does that mean you wasted my time and ruined my bed you dumass!!? "
As he is about to hit Akira, suddenly lighting crackles outside taking everyone's attention.
All four people look outside in the sky to see Blue and Purple lighting crackling in the clouds.
" Whoa, Its my first time seeing purple lighting. " says Akira not a bit phased by the abnormal phenomenon happening in the sky. Or was it that he was just too dumb to understand that it was abnormal, whatever was going outside.
" You dumass thats new for everyone, Lighting's never purple naturally. " Tim says getting fed up of Akira's idiocy.
" You think its something like what happens in the north and south pole, when the Arora forms. " says Jerome thinking about the phenomenon scientifically.
" Maybe it's a meteor. " says Lucas.
As they were about to continue suddenly a screen pops up in front of everyone.
" Whoa, Do you guys see this, Is it only for me.
Am i being summoned to a different world. "
Says Akira.
" What? Seriously that's the first thing you think of? Anyway are you two seeing this too? " asks Tim.
" Yeah, It looks like a blue translucent board hanging in the air right? " Says Jerome.
" Hey, look my hand went through it! " shouts Lucas.
As they were all Exited, Disbelief, Intrigued and Worried respectabily. A message pops up on the screen.

In a second everyone's emotions in room turned into worried and freaked out. Well not all of them.
" Hey, hey Tim um what does this mean? Does this mean i'm not going to be summoned to a different world? " Asked Akira while poking at Tim's arm.
Others who heard this would me mad at him for speaking nonsense at any other time, But right now Akira's stupidity brought them back from the brink of panicking to a more light hearted tone.
" If you want to go to a different world so much why don't you go and get hit by a Truck or something? " Says Tim in a bout to cover his worry with anger.
" Ehhh, But that would hurt right? I don't want to get hurt. " Says Akira.
" Guys stop bickering for a second, If what this says is True th..then our world itself might just turn into something really fucked " Says Jerome.
" Yeah, Tim calm down and Akira this is really serious shut up for a second please. " As Lucas says this he picks up the T.V remote and turns the channel to Live News.

As all four watched the live feed get cut and the channel was showing a rainbow screen with A triangle in the middle saying Technical Error.
"So, It isn't just us four. Their may be some or even all the people getting this screen and reading the same message we are." Says Lucas.
" I need to call mom and dad to make sure they are ok. You guys should call your parents too."
says Tim as he picks up his phone from the study desk and moves to one of the corner of the room.
"Yeah I should call my little sister too, She's probably home with mom and dad." says Akira as he stats calling his sister.
Lucas and Jerome just nod at each other and move a little bit away to make the call.
As they all call thier parents and make sure they are all at home and ok. Just that they confirmed that whatever this screen was all of them had it too.
Tim's parents were at a friend's house.So he was talking to them a little longer to make sure they were safe there if something really happened.And he had another call to make.
Akira was still taking to his family.
As Lucas and Jerome finish their calls they were waiting and watching the countdown on the screen.
" You should call Ruby to make sure she's with her family. " Says Lucas to Jerome.
" Yeah , I..sigh I was going to do that anyway. "
Says Jerome as he starts to dial the number. But before he put the phone to his ear, he said to Lucas. " You should too, you know call Felicia.
Before you say something stupid i'm not teasing you, this could be a really serious. Whatever this downsizing is i've got a bad feeling about this, So just call her and tell her to be safe." As he hears a voice from the phone and moves away from Lucas to talk to his girlfriend.

I dial her number on my phone, as its ringing i take a side glance at the countdown on the screen. * 00:01:32 *
' Come on, Pick up, Pick up, Pick up, Please.'
As much as i deny it to anyone i really do like her.

I sigh in relief knowing that she was safe at home.
"Yeah, We all can. I was at Tim's house with Akira and Jerome and suddenly this things pops up. Bu..but Jerome says this might just be some natural disaster or something."

I sigh and put the phone down. As i turn around i see the three idiots looking at me with disappointed and mirth in their eyes.
" Oh Come On! This is not a time for amusement, Ok look the timer just hit the last minute. " As i try to distract them. from my disappointing confessions. We all look towards the Timer. It had reached 00:00:57.
" Now what do we do? " Asks Akira towards us as we stand together, looking into our respective systems.
We look into each other's eyes showing various emotions but couldn't come up with anything to do right now.
" We wait. " said Jerome with a sigh upon his helplessness.
" Oh , Ok then ." Says Akira as he takes the bag of chips and sits down on the bed and stars eating.
All three of us just looked at him for a while until he notices it and says " Do you want some?" Offering the bag of Potato chips to us.
