Minutes later...
Throngs of people gather around the poor boy – or more appropriately, the already-crushed body of a lifeless young boy.
They are so horrified that an innocent child is the latest victim of a hit-and-run accident, of which there are a depressing number of them in recent months.
And suddenly, from out of nowhere, a tall man in a pure white shirt and pants, with a face so mild and gentle, but with eyes full of tears…
He comes into this spot of Know Your Role Avenue and carries the boy in his arms.
He is obviously crying.
Curious bystanders nudge the man in white and ask…
"Excuse me, sir. Are you related to this child? Do you know him at all?"
The man in white, his face full of mourning and in complete and utter agony, lifts up his face and answers succinctly…
"He... was my best friend…"
And by chance... Angelique arrives on the scene.
Once she sees the dead boy, she can do nothing but weep.
