Over the next few days, the Ishi-shiro began laying out its basic foundations – how the headquarters were organized, how the ranking system would work, how the uniform designs would be implemented, how weapons and other ordnance would be acquired, and most importantly, how soldiers and non-military personnel would be recruited.
Edilbert Porcarelli, being the founder of the paramilitary organization himself, named himself the Supreme Leader and gave himself the rank of colonel.
No one else batted an eye.
And as for Josiah Pring himself, he would be given the rank of private, though Col. Porcarelli would assure him that as one of the founding members, he would be assured of rank promotions if he performed well in select missions.
In one of the clean-up jobs he was assigned to, Josiah came across a gadget that's just been sitting in an alcove on the second floor of the building.
