Muriel directly answers, "You see, you see, when we were all swallowed by portals during that awarding ceremony after we have defeated that bigoted evil chicken dude, we landed on the continent east of here."
"Ah, The Unchartered Continent, right?" Akalina asks.
"Indeed," Serasa confirms. "And we had to walk all the way towards here in Sarbacutta and got ourselves involved in some quests before meeting you all. We felt that… we were not ready to meet you yet, considering how unpredictable this world can be."
"But now, you have us to rely on," Bamelin rejoins. "Bonds and all that, right?"
"Right!" the girls agree.
Constance chips in, with a smile that is unusually bright for a reserved girl like her, "It's nice to be back, isn't it?"
"Right again!" the girls agree again.
