I, as part of the 50 (plus 22, of course), gladly respond by attending the alumni homecoming.
The homecoming is actually part of a week-long celebration of the school's founding anniversary, but I didn't have the luxury to attend the previous days due to my college obligations.
And since the homecoming actually starts at 6 pm sharp, I actually have to wear my tuxedo to college, since I plan to head straight into Dillington High right after classes – and I don't mind the stares that come with the package.
5:45 pm.
I'm now home.
Nothing much has changed in terms of the looks of the overall campus.
Students, teachers, and others are currently wrapping up their daytime activities, arranging things and disposing of trash.
And there are helpful signs that lead me towards the gymnasium – the place where the alumni homecoming will be held.
5:55 pm.
Other alumni are slowly filling up the gymnasium as the event is nearing its beginning.
And the first people to greet me…
