I reply, "That's just part of our job, yeah."
"Good. And before I forget, let me introduce you to my fellow adventurers.
"Claudine Rosales, a swordswoman.
"Arden Jethro Barretto, a dual-pistol gunner.
"Kristine Raval, a cleric.
"Gauwalt Espino, an axe-wielding warrior.
"And finally, Rodic Acendero, a master sage."
"Nice to have your company," I earnestly enunciate as I and the rest of the Twilight Warriors shake hands with these fine adventurers.
"And by the way," Jericho cuts in, "we'll all take a break from adventuring for now. Seeing as the monolith is slowly descending from the sky, indicating the end of the world, you know something has to be done with it, right?"
