"So how long have you been dating each other?" Lizzie asked in her ear.
"A while," Rosie answered. She was now drinking coffee outside the garden after having a quick breakfast. Calypso had gone out for shopping so she was all alone in the house, with the exception of the guards. "Close to three weeks, I guess."
"And how long since you knew each other?"
"Probably around four months? He, um, got transferred to our company."
"Why don't you sound so sure?"
Because she was making this up as Lizzie's interrogation went on.
"We had a love-hate relationship," she responded, sipping her coffee. "I tried to ignore his existence as much as I could so forgive me if I'm a bit iffy on the details."
Lizzie chuckled. "You? Hate on someone? That's a first."
"He brought out the worst on me," she mumbled.
"Do tell."
