It was already morning, yet the weather was gloomy and cold. The fog was so thick it seemed as though it never wanted to leave the castle alone at all. As if it never wanted the sun to ever be able to touch it.
Sam had led Zary out onto the veranda after feeding her. He had also had her dressed into something that was warmer and more comfortable.
The entire time, all Zary could do was wonder about the place that they were headed to. Until he led her out to that veranda.
He walked towards the mossy railing and leaned against it. And there it was. This déjà vu. She felt like she had seen this exact scene before. Sam standing right there in that spot and looking down at the scary and steep cliffs bellow.
Right! She had seen this exact scene in her dream that night when she had been separated from him and then was later brought to the hospital.
Turning around, Sam regarded her with a serious gaze as though considering whether to tell her what was on his mind, or not.
