A small shield was flying in front of Will.
"Hmm... The spell did say that strength is proportional to mana consumed." So Will started adding more mana to the spell.
Slowly and slowly the shield started becoming bigger in size, till it covered Will completely from the front.
"Yes, this was the right spell to buy."He smiled.
"Only 14 more days till the academy starts. After that I wont be able to go to dungeon very often....."
After the academy would start, the students get busy in their classes, increasing weapon and spell proficiency and as such get very less time to go to dungeons.
"I need to find a new way of making money.... One that wont consume too much of my time."
The other students usually depended on their parents for money, but both Will and Silver couldn't do so as they were orphans.
Silver still had the cheat system, which also gave him money for completing missions but Will didnt have any such thing and as such had to find a way to earn money.
"I definitely need to earn money. Gotta buy new spells, rare herbs and treasures...Plus i need a lot of money for that event....I have to buy that thing... ughhh... "
Will started contemplating.

The stock market of the world was very well developed. Guilds, mercenary groups, different industries all had their own stocks.
Buying and selling stocks also didnt require much time
It could have been done anytime and anywhere. Heck, Will could do it on his phone.
Further Will had all the knowledge - the future guilds, companies that would rise, the ones that would fall....Using it he could definitely earn a lot of money.
But perhaps the most important reason why stocks could help Will was - Anonymity.
The World believed that people would only freely invest in stocks if their identity was kept secret.
Imagine a person who made millions out of stocks. If his identity would have been known then he would definitely become a target for the criminals.
Because of this fear many people didnt invest much of their wealth in stocks.
Thus to solve this all the world leaders decided to make stock buying and sharing anonymous.
As soon as this transition was done, BOOM the market exploded.
Companies started growing at 10 times the speed and the global economy saw an upturn.
Yes this definitely had some problems - money laundering, Criminal financing etc etc but anything would have its good and bad points and seeing the exponential rise in investment, it was decided that this anonymity would continue to be maintained.
Thus, in this world anyone could have been a millionaire - a beggar on the street, a 15 year old kid, heck even a stray dog and noone would really know how much money they had.
"Yes, stocks it is"
Will opened his phone and started the process of registering for a stock account.
"Damn I just have around 16000R left....Well have to start with what I have.First gotta put this money in my bank account so that I can use it for stocks"
He then stood up from his bed and exited the room.

This amount transfer was hassle free. Plus he didnt even had to travel far. There was a bank branch right inside Divine.
Now this may sound insane as to why there was a bank branch just for the students of Divine, but one has to understand that no matter how poor one may be before entering Divine, he/she would become rich in quite little time.
The reason for this ? Dungeons.
One could see how much money Will earned from the lowest ranked dungeon, and thus this money would increase exponentially, when someone would run a higher ranked dungeon.
The amount of money inside Divine - owned by the students, teachers, Divine's assets and reserves was just too large and thus for the bank it was profitable to open a branch inside the academy.
"Hmm.... let me remember some of the companies who would perform good." Will started thinking while looking at the stocks of different companies.
While he was scrolling, his eyes suddenly widened.
"QE miners. Bingo"
QE miners when started was a very big company and it's share went for 10000R per share. But then with time, their luck became bad and they didn't find any good mines no matter how much they searched for them. Slowly and slowly their resources got depleted and as of today the shares of QE miners company were going at just 100R per share.
But Will knew the future.
Right around the 1st month of the academy, QE miners would find a special mine while prospecting which would then make them one of the biggest companies in the future.
" Mana gold" Will smiled.
Just like the whole earth was covered in mana , even it's interior had become full of mana.
And thus, all the minerals, metals, precious stones also got covered in mana.
Because of this , these items also started absorbing mana, and thus their properties - strength, ductility, conduction etc also increased.
Thus iron became mana iron, diamond became mana diamond and gold became mana gold.
