Min Jun stared at the express envelope before him and counted to ten. "Why wasn't this given to me or Jackson as soon as it arrived?"
Kimmi cowered before him. "I'm so sorry. I had no idea. The label is marked private. I don't open your private mail, so I left it on your desk."
The envelope contained two items. One was a demand letter for the return of Jessie. The second was a cell phone that MJ was supposed to use to contact the kidnapper.
If he wanted Jessie back, he had to produce David—the same David Hong Gi and Min Ho had coerced into moving to Costa Rico. Min Jun didn't think just asking nicely was about to convince David to come back, especially since the Patron family had nothing but sinister plans for the man. In that regard, MJ couldn't blame him, but David leaving his family to pay for his acts was unconscionable.
"Go back to work, Kimmi. Call Min Ho, Jackson, and Misty here."
"Can I clean up in here for you first?"
