Luke was used to people throwing themselves at him. They had done it since the BEXT debut, but it never affected him the way Tate's calm, blunt declaration did. Honestly, it usually felt a little creepy to him. Maybe because he knew the persona most entertainers adopted on stage didn't mesh with their true personalities.
He thought of it as akin to taking a snake as a pet without checking for fangs first. But he'd shown Tate his fangs. He'd been blunt to the point of rudeness with him. He'd told him point blank he was interested in Lexy. And the man had seen him fresh out of bed without makeup or hair product with no attempt to pump up the wow factor. That was a lot for one day, and Tate was still interested in him. He'd earned the right to sit on the bench.
"I'm not making any promises," Luke said. "You're annoying."
Tate chuckled. "Some say it's my best quality."
"How is that a good quality?"
