"Why are you so surprised, little lady?" The man asked with a smile while he closed his blind eyes.
"I didn't hear this aura ... and your eyes ..." Lyanna was confused.
"It's a long story, little lady." He laughed brightly. "Do you wanna hear it? I didn't even remember when I met with a real person ..."
A heavy sigh left the man's mouth. It was indeed a heartfelt question by him. In the past years since he went blind, no one approached him. After he settled in Lakron, everyone thought he had gone crazy as he just talked to the air wherever they saw him.
Lyanna just nodded with a low voice as accepting the man's request. The man then started to tell her his story, like it was a tale.
"Soulseeker Aura, an aura and a power that has been lost in the past for a long time together with the soul-like auras. It was enough to turn the world upside down. Legends told me there was a twin who inherited this aura but in a different way." He started.
"One had the power to see and talk to the souls, while the other had the power to devour them, gaining more and more strength. Both of them served in the army, and quickly rose on the ladder of ranks."
"In strategic view, the older who could talk with the souls, was more important, since the information was always the strongest weapon on the battlefield. Because of this, the younger one became jealous."
"A war started to occur between the siblings, and it said a grand battle happened. It took a week without a break and a lot of people died, but with each death, the younger one became stronger and stronger."
"On the sunset of the 7th day, only the two siblings remained on the top of the mountain of corpses. The older kneeled, his body was tired, his skin was pale and was filled with many wounds ..."
The middle-aged man took a deep breath when he noticed something unnatural from Lyanna while he kept telling his story. Instead, he felt some kind of rigid sensitive aura around her.
"Little lady, something is bothering you?" He asked gently.
"This is a cruel, a cruel world ..." Lyanna clenched her hands into a fist while she slightly built up killing intent uncontrollably escaped her body.
Killing intent can be built up in a person through the situations it avoided the scythe of the reaper or killed mercilessly a lot of people without hesitation.
The killing intent that was created in Lyanna was noticeable but not strong enough to affect the stronger people's minds. The man raised his eyebrow and sighed loudly.
"Little lady, even if you have right, we live in an era that determines our destiny."
The words made Lyanna's anger increase inside her heart. Her nails cut wounds on her palm and a few drops of blood rolled down on her fingers.
"Little lady, you cannot change the past, also the present ... I met many souls who told innumerable stories about their lives, how they lived, how they wanted to, and how they suffered ..." The man scratched his head and tried to comfort Lyanna.
"Do you know Juno what told to me? She was the friendliest I ever met." The man smiled. "She told how she loved her brother, her husband, how many regrets followed her to the grave, she told many things but with pride."
The old man smiled and turned his head towards the tree, taking a break in his monologue. The gentle breeze patted the leaves of the tree, waving its branches to the sky.
"Every yesterday is a new chapter in the book of our life. We don't turn the pages back to experience again the past but to remember what path we took to reach our present."
A drop of heavy tears rolled down the face of the man as those words left his mouth with his closed eyes.
"Juno, she is the definition of a pure heart. How could someone beautiful end up so cruelly?" He wiped out the tear from his face.

A group of knights approached the entrance of the city on the west side of Lakron. The 10 men riding on horses entered it without a word. The guards only bowed to them.
"Welcome Sir Woran, Sir Tarnak in Lakron!" The guard greeted.
Tarnak only waved his hand.
'So we came back to here. This will be fun!' He thought.
