Alec powered off his laptop and brought out the box of the vintage VR headset and took out the headset. He checked his game items again, making sure they are complete, before sitting on his chair.
He picked up the headset but didn't wear it. He stared at it for a moment, falling into deep thought. He snapped out of his thoughts and sighed deeply.
Be careful, Alec muttered to himself. This was going to be a multiplayer game, but Alec wasn't comfortable with that idea. He preferred flying solo, and not dragging others along.
Sighing again, he strapped the headset on his face and secured it properly. Then he waited. Immediately his clock ticked twelve, his body became numb and he fell into deep consciousness.
