As soon as the plane made a touchdown, Alec arranged his luggage on his foot and waited for the plane to stop. While he was packing up, his gun mistakenly fell from his pocket to the ground.
For a moment, his heart leaped to his mouth. But Sophia, who was seating close to him didn't seem to notice it. It was like the gun was invisible, which was both strange and a relief. Alec picked it up and pocketed it back.
"You're sick, you know that?" Sophia said with disdain and left her seat to meet her mum. Alec didn't know what was vexing her, but he didn't want to know. All he wanted to know was how a random girl sitting next to her would happen to be the character from his previous mission.
However, his thoughts were interrupted by a notification from his phone. It was from his father. "Are you coming?"
