Bzzt! Bzzt!!
Two laser shots later, the last man fell to the ground. Alec plucked the wand off the air and pocketed it. Then he gathered the bodies and packed them in one place, before sprinting towards the place the leader was situated.
But he was surprised by the next event.
Alec didn't even give a single thought that there would be more than the ten he just killed. He thought it was strange that the man responsible for this would send ten amateurs to exterminate a whole village.
However, that didn't matter, because a trailer was about to plummet him. Alec was already dangerously close to the tire before he realized it.
Suddenly, in a fraction of a second, Alec's body moved.
He used the minute portion of space he had in front of him to his benefit and stretched out, his hands forward and his legs pointed opposite. Then, he braced for the impact.
