Alec has awoken abruptly by a commotion coming from outside. With a frown, Alec came out of his house and saw many people heading in one direction.
"The king beckons on all of you indigenes of this village!" A town crier's voice could be heard from a distance. Everyone immediately left the things they were doing and followed the crowd that led to the king's court.
Alec felt that it had to do with the fish problem, so he decided to join them, but that would be later. He went to the backyard and checked the bean plant. It had grown many leaves, and it seemed very healthy. This already proved that the treatment was working.
It took three hours before the crowd that passed Alec's residence receded. It was then he decided to move. He took the bowl containing the plant and headed to wherever the crowd was going.
