Chapter 22 - Call the Doctor Immediately

The second man watching from behind approached Alec and grabbed at his neck, in an attempt to squeeze the life out of him, but Alec causally dodged it.

The commotion has attracted the students eating in the cafeteria, and they paused their chatting amongst themselves and watched the ongoing brawl. "how dare you dodge my hand?" The second man growled and grabbed at his neck again, but he missed.

Alec glared at Ji Hoon and Ji Na with cold eyes. "If you don't leave here now, I will kill you personally", Alec said with a domineering voice. This caused the duo to shiver, as they grabbed their food tray and scurried away, leaving Alec with the two older students.

"I see what's going on. You want to be the hero eh?" The first male student said smiling, but he wasn't smiling. While he was talking, he took out something from his pocket. When the item was seen by the students watching, they gasped in horror.

The device the student held was something that looked like a tazer, except it was modified that it not only paralyzes you for a couple of minutes, it seriously affects your mental processes, causing you to become a retarded. There was once a geek of Alec's age who reported these people to the police once upon a time, but by the time he was caught by them, he was brutally shocked with this device.

He was rushed to the hospital, and because the witnesses were afraid of being caught by these students, they decided to be silent, so the culprit was never found. Up to date, the boy was in a psychiatric hospital, mentally deranged.

Ever since, none of the students, even teachers dared mess with these people. As a result, these two were feared throughout the school. They ran this university.

Alec knew about the boy's incident, so he was not a stranger to this death device. "Any last words, my man?" The first student asked without expression, holding the tazer and staring at him.

"I thought I should be asking you that question", Alec said casually. Although he was wary of this device, he was confident it won't touch him. The student smirked and signalled the other student to grab him.The second student threw himself at Alec and held him by the waist. Alec didn't resist and allowed him to pin him. The student watching could not help but pity Alec badly. Some of them even began to cry for him. Poor kid, he should have known better than fighting these people.

"I'll make sure you will be an idiot for the rest of your life", the student growled and slowly approached Alec's forehead with the tazer on his hands. The students watching close their eyes, as they didn't want to see Alec turn into an idiot by these wicked monsters.

However, what happened next shocked them to the core. The student holding him, who was smiling suddenly froze, his smile still on his face. Then he screamed painfully and left Alec and fell, holding his stomach in pain. Alec had used the opportunity of close contact to dig into his belly, compressing his stomach organ so bad.

This action distracted the first student, allowing Alec to counter-attack. He grabbed the spoon he was eating with and turned it into a weapon. He slashed the student on his face, leaving a long deep gash on his face.

The student howled in pain as he held his bloody face, but Alec was just getting started. He approached the distressed student and shoved the spoon inside of his mouth, then he used his palm and whack the end of the spoon, roughly uprooting most of the student's teeth.

"Arrgh!" The student screamed and tried to fight back. He grabbed the paper and waved it at Alec's face, but Alec easily dodged it. Then he went berserk. The blood he saw triggered his killing instinct, as he dug the blunt spoon to his hips, causing blood to gush out.

The student, who was already suffering from intense pain on his face and his mouth, could not help but let out a shrill cry. He wanted to escape, but Alec wasn't giving him the opportunity to.

Alec forcefully controlled his desires and withdrew himself from the student, who was already bleeding fast. He cleaned the bloodstains from his trousers and calmly looked at the students, who were both terrified and shocked at the same time. They just witnessed something they've never seen before.

"Call the doctor immediately. This should be between us okay?" Alec told his audience and left the cafeteria. Of course, he didn't care if they reported him or not. He was probably doing the school a favor by roughening them up, so he wasn't that worried.

The last bell rang, and students poured out of the school's exit. Alec was walking with Ji Hoon and Ji Na, who looked at him with a complicated expression. "Alec, how did you master the art of kung-fu? You never told me you take classes", Ji Hoon could not stay silent anymore. What he saw earlier today was something he could never forget. The lonely nerd he always knew was gone. His demeanor even appeared different, way too different.

Alec's eyes were clearer and emptier than usual, unlike Alec who was always thinking about something. Was it because he was grieving his mom that turned him to be this? Ji Hoon could not answer that question.

"I don't", Alec said simply and became silent. He has no desire to speak at all. Ji Na held Alec's hands and caressed them gently. "Thank you very much for saving me back there. I almost thought I was going to die in their hands", Ji Hoon said. Alec felt her hands shiver at the mention of 'die'.

"No one is ever going to bully you anymore now that they saw what I did to them", Alec assured the duo, who nodded simultaneously. "Uhm, Alec, do you have time, Ji Hoon and I visit this restaurant after school. You should try it. At least consider this as a way of saying thank you for saving me', Ji Na said.

"Uhm, thank you, but I have something I wanted to do when I get home, I'm sorry. Maybe next time", Alec declined her offer, causing her to be disappointed, but there's nothing she could do. She smiled in response and retracted his hands from his, giving her the opportunity for her mind to wander.
