The sniper stared at his scope hatefully and watched as the soldier crouched down as soon as he pulled the trigger.
Without thinking twice, he reloaded. He slowly moved, changing his direction towards the area where the soldier poked his head.
After adjusting his scope again, he peeked at it again, swearing in his heart that he would never leave this place without seeing the corpse of the person that murdered his brother.
This, he must do.
However, when he looked again, he didn't see anyone. But he was not angry.
He hastily grabbed him – and scanned the bush for any movement, but everywhere was still.
Then, he thought of something. Turning around with a sharp move, he grabbed his knife on his belt and slashed it in front of him.
The knife met with the enemy's knife as it clashed. The sniper stabbed the knife at the enemy, causing the enemy to step back.
Cole had expected that the sniper would spot him, so he stepped back and avoid the slash.
