Winston knew he stood no chance with Ed as the Vampyr would take him down effortlessly, like a master would do to his subordinate. He turned to the wolves and thought of his options. If they could distract Ed for a while, he'd be able to run and make it out of the woods on time, he just didn't know how capable these wolves were and if not worse, he was pushing them to their deaths.
