Purifiers were among the first creatures to live on this planet. Unlike their other counterparts who had a specific origins of either the dark or light, Purifiers had a neutral essence. They roamed the earth doing nothing but purifying and cleaning what had been destroyed.
Lucifer, curious as he had been had an encounter with one of them and befriended her. Since she could feel the loneliness and emptiness in him, she attempted to purify him to his original state and bare his burden herself. Back in those days, Lucifer once again felt what it was to be free of sin but that act from both parties birthed consequences. The balance between darkness and light in the purifier fell off the grip which consumed her entirely. She had become thirsty for darkness which turned her into and evil being as she sucked dark essences from everything that crossed her.
