From afar, the island had already looked impeccable— perfect for a stopover that would double as a vacation. The island was unlike any other island back on Main Earth and that was to be expected since they were out in the unknown universe.
An island in the middle of nowhere. Even though it seemed faultless from afar, there was no way that it could appear better close-up. The build-up to the landing, leading to the exit, made everyone hold their breath in great anticipation. With bated breaths, Lev and the others eagerly waited behind the slow unlatching of the ramp— the only opening in and out of the space cruiser.
As soon as the ramp fully opened and the opening gave everyone a complete view of the beach, the first thing that greeted them was the smell of the place.
There was no doubt about it. It was the smell of a beach through and through.
