Mo Rao worked until late at night.
At sunset, Fu Ying returned.
Hearing a noise outside the door, Mo Rao stood up and opened the bedroom door. She saw Fu Ying, who had just gone upstairs.
"You're back?" Mo Rao's face was filled with surprise, but she wasn't happy.
In the past, even if Fu Ying came back in the middle of the night, she would run out happily and throw herself into his arms while chattering non-stop with him.
But now, they were as distant as roommates.
Fu Ying frowned. "I said I would be back early today. Are you unhappy?"
This feeling was really unpleasant.
"No." Mo Rao shook her head in denial. She wasn't unhappy, but her emotions were a little complicated.
She was already completely disappointed in Fu Ying, so no matter how Fu Ying treated her now, she felt numb. She wouldn't be happy or unhappy.
Fu Ying suppressed the frustration in his heart and said calmly, "I brought dinner. Go down and eat."
