Centered on that building, everyone was running outwards, but Rae Bennett charged inside.
Going against the flow of the fleeing crowd, she got pushed and shoved along the way, and had just reached the entrance of the building when she heard Wyatt Wright calling her.
"Rae."
Rae Bennett grabbed Wyatt Wright, "Run quickly."
She pulled him and started running towards the outside of the building, without looking back, running with all her might.
Luckily, she wasn't wearing high heels.
Wyatt Wright tugged at her hand, signaling her to stop, "No need to run."
She stopped, pointed at the building, gasping, "There's a bomb."
In the plaza, people were still swarming out in a crush.
Wyatt Wright led Rae Bennett to a nearby open space, "I was just around the corner, it's not a real bomb."
The passersby didn't know the truth from the rumours. The chaos had erupted because people simply followed the crowd without knowing better.
