She closed the door.
"Did your father come too?"
"Father didn't come."
"Who brought you here?"
Emily Watson's expression was cold, and her tone was like an interrogation.

"Young Lady," Aunt Filan knocked on the door from outside, "Mrs. Hart is here."
Mrs. Hart was Emily Watson's close girlfriend, and they had plans to have dinner together.

Emily Watson left the wine cellar, and Aunt Filan rushed a glance inside as she waited at the door.
"We cannot let anyone discover him."
Emily Watson locked up the wine cellar.
Fearful but not daring to say anything to the outside world, Aunt Filan brought a blanket to the wine cellar, along with some food and water.
