Sean White certainly wasn't willing, "If I let the hostage go, what leverage do I have with you?"
"If you don't let Ava go, how can I know that you will keep your promise after receiving the items? You want a hostage; one is enough. Release Ava first as a gesture of good faith for the transaction."
After mulling it over, Sean lifted his arm and gave a signal. His men let go and pushed Mrs. Shaw towards Peter Wood.
Athena Davis immediately said, "Secretary Wood, you take Ava and go."
Peter Wood hesitated, "Young Miss."
"Go quickly."
There's only a chance if they leave.
Peter Wood understood Athena's intention and took the sobbing Ava who was unwilling to leave on a small boat.
Only after the boat had sailed far away did Athena agree to move, leaving Baries Island and boarding Sean's yacht.
Sean intended to take Athena to the headquarters of Golden World. To retrieve the documents stored by Lord Garrison, Athena herself had to go.
