Leroy Bennett arrived at the police station at nine in the morning.
Mr. Zach and Dante Mckee were responsible for taking Leroy's statement. Mr. Zach had already reviewed Leroy's information: 26 years old, the Bennett Family's adopted son, deputy chief physician in hepatobiliary surgery at Mercy Hospital, a genius surgeon with such a stellar record that it made one question the fairness of the creator.
Being talented was one thing, but when Mr. Zach looked at Leroy's face again... it was the kind of face that could make one die of envy.
"Where were you between nine and ten o'clock the night before yesterday? Does anyone have proof?"
Although the surveillance cameras hadn't captured any men entering or exiting Harper Bennett's residential area, blind spots might exist, and Mr. Zach had encountered cases before where clever use of cameras provided smart alibis. Hence, having an alibi was essential.
