He thought silently for a moment, then released his hand, "You do it."
He stood up, intending to pull the curtains.
Rae Bennett pressed him to sit down, lifting his face.
He obediently tilted his head back, and as Rae Bennett leaned down, she bit on his Adam's apple. He sat motionless, his skin reddening starting from his neck.
Rae Bennett heard a swallow.
"Wyatt."
"Hmm?"
"Do you want more water?"
"Yes."
Too easy to bully.
Rae Bennett helped Wyatt unwrap the second button, went to pour water, giving him less than half a glass.
She cleared the cushions from the couch, "Come lie down, I'll go water the flowers."
Wyatt lay down, obeying her every command.
Rae Bennett took the vase, filled it with water in the kitchen, and returned to find Wyatt with his phone.
"What are you doing?"
He said, "Sending money envelopes."
"To whom?"
"Everyone."
His patience was exceptional, starting with the letter A in his contacts, he tapped through one by one.
