Sean Bennett seemed to have anticipated her reaction, "I'll give you all my shares."
Rae Bennett pulled up a chair and sat down, "Why are you suddenly being so generous to me?"
It seemed that quite a few interesting things had happened during the half month she was away from Osla.
"Weren't you very pleased with Harper? You've always been grooming her as your successor. Linda Roberts only has one daughter, Harper. If the shares go to her, Harper would benefit as well, doesn't this exactly fulfill your wish?"
"I know you've always resented me and even used Linda Roberts to deal with me, but you and Harper are different, you are the legitimate heir to the Bennett Family. The shares absolutely cannot go to Linda Roberts."
Of course, they couldn't be given to Linda Roberts – Sean Bennett probably even harbored thoughts of getting rid of her by now.
But survival comes first, right?
